KATY IS A CONTEMPORARY ARTIST WHO PRODUCES FINE ART ORIGINAL OIL PAINTINGS.
Katy has enjoyed international success with her colourful and abstract wildlife oil paintings. Her latest work is an exploration into her own mind. By making poetry of her thoughts, and sitting with the uncomfortable, Katy has developed a romantic and sometimes unnerving body of work that shines a light on her love for the natural world and the wildlife that has inspired her as a child. Weaving in and out of Katy’s work, symbolism has always been omnipresent. With a deep passion for oil paint as a medium, Katy has stepped into an honest, open and indulgent style, full of oddities, drenched in truths and meaning, and offering interpretation.
